kingd3001: For anyone looking a good holster for this light check out a good single
spare pistol magazine pouch I use one to carry this light in works perfect
for me try to found a pouch that will holds a glock 17-19 magazine pouch
and that should work
Richsifu7: Well they've come out with the Maglite XL200 which fixed the issues that
the XL100 had with the mode switching and made it brighter, up to 172
lumens with the 5 modes that the XL100 has but with the clicky interface of
the XL50 that everyone seemed to like and prefer. I have a review on my
channel and it's a great light with great features, but I still do love my
XL50 as well.
TheCrushmaster: @urbanbugout Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what they come out with. :-)
urbanbugout: @The138Monster Just might do that as I'm like working with paracord too.
mducheyl: So, It's turnable... You could say the same in 3 minutes!!!! sooooo boring
and maybe if you twist it in your hand 8,000 times less, would had time to
look at... hmmm maybe could be good to see... THE LED!?!?!?!?! what kind of
led uses!!! ohh great glass, but What is inside???? horrible review...
mdough6: Good review! Very helpful. I keep on on my bedstand now. Thanks!
QuestoDomini .: Great torch, just need an equally nice carry case for it.
Codbozo22: for 20 dollars more you could have gotten the Olight s10 Baton which is
what i just got with a max output of 320 lumens it's really worth it. Plus,
it runs off of a cr123 which from olight on going gear.com its only $2 and
it lasts a long time. I will agree though that the XL50 is a good light. i
also have one of those. great review
The138Monster: Great review. How about making a paracord x cross wrap over the horizontal
lines to give it grip and to fit the contour of your hand?
Brandon Eme: yeah its slick, i wrap mine in bicycle innertubes so it doesnt slip,
urbanbugout: @TheCrushmaster Thanks for the comment. Its a great american made
flashlight. A few issues Im sure mag will fix in 2.0 or 3.0.
snake7686: Good light and good review!
TheCrushmaster: Good overview. I'm currently running a Coast LED (which I won't be keeping
in my system, as I want an all-American/European system) and an Underwater
Kinetics eLED Penlight I as my lighting capabilities. Considering this
light is "virtually" USA-made, bright, and relatively inexpensive, I think
it'd be a good choice. We'll see. God bless.
Richsifu7: I put some black duct tape around the back, cut to the length of the smooth
pattern between the end cap and the beginning of the "knurling". I've found
that is good enough to add some good grip but it is flush with the knurling
lines and keeps it from slipping.
Jeffrey Wilkinson: its shaped just like the aaa solitaire they make !
fixnethin: I have and LOVE this flashlight, I might buy the magtec light cause its
brighter, but I'm debating between that n the xl200? (Those little batts
are expensive) but I have a ? How is the xl50 adjustable beam? I can't
figure it out on mine
bobTom37: just bought this to replace my coleman high performance led i lost, and i
am impressed. maglite really knows what there doing with led's. they are so
bright for their size.
