MKPolarIce: I just bought some led 30cm strips primarily for case modding. They come
with molex connectors on them. I wouldn't bother messing around with all
BSM Prod: Use heat-shrink tubing on the solder joints!
Phillip Mulligan: He is choosing this slightly more cumbersome system because it will look
much cleaner free of wire clutter as explained in 8:20. His extra work does
pay off coming time to show this off at the next LAN party/PC modding
contest. Craftmanship and attention to detail is always in style be it PC
modding, custom cars or fine woodworking.
elmotuz: If you have to but led strips in your computer, but them in the case not on
side panel so you could do proper cable management!
---ElectroMan---: Anyone else OCD and notice the LED strip he put on the diagonal part of the
window was off-kilter?
Daryl Norton: I currently have a low voltage system for outdoor lighting. I have 4 100
bulb white christmas light strings that I want to convert to low voltage
and integrate into my 120 Watt Controller or use something else to control
just the christmas lights. The LED lights are just your standard 120V.
Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance
Zaphod BeebIebrox: your cable management is a mess, tidy that crap up!
Mark Woodworth: Nice video, but I think you just demonstrated what NOT to do. When you laid
out the power connector strip, it should have been at the bottom of the
case side, NOT in the middle where it would show. Your wiring layout was a
mess too. But all-in-all you were just showing how to do it, and you did.
TheRegalRolston: Anyone ever tell you you're the Bob Ross of LED installations?
Ben Graves: Was the sea at the start quadrophenia?
jaber4life: How to add LEDs: put LEDs in your case
Xtroidable: where can I find/get hold of the cables that wire up all the strips so that
it's one whole circuit powered by one molex?
GhostRiot: Good lord, what a mess.
grayzification: can you show how to plug this in?
simonmaersk: You did some of these steps in a very retarded way. For example the molex
connector. WTF was that??? Not to mentiion your horrible cable management
in that case at the end...
MegaWharfedale: To much mucking around, I measured one length and went all the way around
the outer edges on the inside of my pc, job done, time around 2 minutes.
xxkinetikxx: looks like crap
Dakawan S: Way to not solder properly, class one at best
Girish Harlikal: The red and black wires from LED strip should b connected to which wires
,black or yellow?????????
Anyone help plzzzzzz
Frank Jackson: You get such a good view of the cable management.
Alexander25C: Wanted to do it for a long time. before i wached your video. just finished.
Zalman MS800. No side panel. Instaled leds on the front of the case. Looks
absolutele amazing. I've done a better job including cable management. thx
anyway 4 ur vid.
GamingAndTech: I have the RGB 5050 LED Strip with a sound activated music contoller built
in my case. Get the RBGs if you like changing your lights.
Adrian Ortega: where were you when i ruined my pc with leds lol =( ty tho ive yet to see
such a good guide for leds like and sub :p
KiLo Hellfire: NO NO NO NO NO! USE ELECTRICAL TAPE TO HIDE THE WIRES IT WILL BLEND IN WITH
THE CASE YOU IDIOT (ocd at it's finest)
Marco Perfetti: WHEN YOU MENTIONED ALCAHOL EVERY ALCAHOLIC TURNED AROUND TO LOOK FOR THE
Alan Vangjeli: well those cable make it ugly
Shrikant Raut: Awesome Video, thank you.
Marco Perfetti: wow so you mean my dream has come true, now i can finally put WATERPROOF
LEDS' in my toilet bowl and watch my turds flush away happily into the
sewer to be taken care of the water THANK GOD
ratmdex: Great video
Lover boy: What is the item that the guy is holding at 8:29 and where can i get it?
josh haigh: anyone got a link for a cable to link the leds
Ikaros Melan: I already bought 15 5mm 12v Pre-Wired Pink LEDs from lighthouse leds. now
im pretty ignorant so when i got them, i had no clue what to do. because i
was expecting them to be ready to connect to my computer case but there
just simple wired lights. apparently i have to ground them to make them
work but not understanding. ground them to what?
Ian Holmes: If you want all of these pre-made with either Molex piggy back connectors,
3 pin fan connectors or even now SATA piggyback power connectors then just
message me for the best supplier on Ebay !!
GhostDJ27: good job man it looks awesome
Synthematix: Solder one wire to the chassis ground and yellow wire to molex plugs yellow
Matvey Tihonov: Coooool =)))
Ikaros Melan: What are the colors of LED lights you can add to the computer. can you buy
RecklessWarriorX: NZXT HUE RGB Led Controller Good for Computers!
Lighthouse LEDs: Yes, you could do that.
pushpopLoC909: The PSU itself I'm assuming. No other reason he would use the molex
connector other than that. It's not a stupid question by the way. You learn
new things by asking no matter how 'stupid' one may think it is. :)
ESPro5000: What wires did you use to connect the LED strips with each other?
Gabriel Fisher: I was actually looking to buy these lights. I thought I would find an
example with different lights. This is awesome! Thank you!
Patrick Paredes: hilarious.. lol..
Nick Daniels: The documentation is in the video :) Watch and learn and you'll be on your
Nick Daniels: Definitely not.
ArcticKnightz: I have an xps8500 and im not seeing a 4 pin plug off of the PSU I have 2
6pins though any way I can get these to work?
IronEagle5150: do you have to cut the strip after ever 3 lights?
Lighthouse LEDs: No, it is just an option if you want.
Lighthouse LEDs: I would not recommend using a glue gun. You can get a soldering iron for
$10 and it is WELL worth the $10.
Awesonymous RC: i think it's a better idea to put the leds in the case but so that when you
put the cover back on you can't see the actual leds but just the glow from
them. So the cord wont annoy every time you take the cover off :)
