Jim Beattie: Thanks for the useful tips, Nick. One thing I might add about finding the
depth is the I-bobber or e-bobber which transmits images below the surface
to your smart phone. It's like a fishfinder on a boat but built into a
bobber that you cast. I think they sell for about $100 or so. There are
videos of them on youtube.
zach kuckkahn: Does anyone else see the cat?
math teacher: Well done. I didn't know about the circle hooks.
Cindy Lane: We went fishing in Corpus Christi of the Bob Hall pier for whiting. Get
shrimp! It works.
Dam Dewey: I caught nothing from these tips exepet the hanker chiff
Josh Field: I'm liking your videos man. Professional but not uptight. Good work bro.
iamstarstuff001: I like the cat.
khnarry: I like setting the hook.
Randall Carroll: I like that tackle box. Yeah friend, I fish out of a 14ft Bass Tracker and
I've watched fellas catch more fish from the bank. Made me want to dock the
boat and join them.
emonoodlz08: Ok quick question, in my area we have gar and catfish that I primarily fish
for. Now watching this video it seems u get a hit u immediately set the
hook not to miss your chance. My buddy says gar give a big hit n wait. So
off my backyard that's What I see, I get a hit and wait 20 minutes, so the
gar hopefully swallows the hook and I hopefully set it. Well whether I wait
20 minutes or set as fast as I can I don't seem to get anything. Even went
to smaller hooks. Looking for advice here. Fyi I run 3-6 rods so holding
each isn't practicable. Also I use usually use a 4-2 gamakatsu octopus
hook. Any suggestions. I fish for gar or cat fish. Honestly anything that
bites. I do catch n release n want to just catch anything worth a picture
and a long story to tell.
Manifestatheist: Great vids!
K Dogg: Bait rag is a must.
Kenny Lim: MORE VIDEOS~~~
MadSmokerBBQ: Sounds like your line is twisted up badly. If its the original line that
came on the reel, replace it with new. If not, check some of the vids on
getting rid of line twist.
Marshallma: hahaha funny kitten
Asron Asyoucanget: What kind of bait box do you use?
heathovc: This is really good. I didn't even think circle hooks were so advantageous.
InformativeFisherman .: Thx for watching..
InformativeFisherman .: I need to do a Marty Stouffer version of this video about my cat moving so
zezimawanabefriends: omfg at 3:17 look at that kitty in the right bottom corner !...id hit

Prasanth Premnath: Very nice
halabi97: 3:17 cat stealing rod
MikeyCicero: Im from the city and I love fishing. Pretty good salmon fishing in Chicago
at Lake Michigan.
vullrath: I have no clue on how to use the rod without getting a rat nest of fishing
line all tangeld up because if there is no tension then line goes
everywhere... i had to restring my rod so many times because this reel
thing sucks. you flip the bar hold the line with trigger finger and then
cast and drop the bar then reel in but so much line goes everywhere that
its just a mess... ugh
montymagic1987: hey nick, i was fishing in a small lake for perch and pike i got a few
perch no problem but the pike i only got once on the spinner hook but he
got away from me. grrrrr... do u know of any good tips for pre baiting or
ground baiting the area to attract more pike to my area.another question i
got is when the sun started to set and sun shined across the lake i could
see up to three pike swimming back and forth in front of uz but they didn't
seem interested in are spinner hooks? any idea's?
BassAngler1992: nice man your videos help alot.a definite subscription
kenlxo: CAT win
InformativeFisherman .: When using a circle hook leave a little slack so the fish has room to move
the bait before feeling resistance. What type of fish are you targeting?
powerpudd: great job. thanx for the tips..
InformativeFisherman .: Yes, yes he did lol
xrichx817: dont forget to bring a towel!
BeauShutItDown: what kind of bait do u suggest in december/jan in a small river?
Joe Peacock: try a smaller hook?
laurenfabrelous: Do you use pen rod
Scottie Ott: i would have fished right there that was a nice cat about 10 lb
InformativeFisherman .: Graphite is more sensitive but fiberglass is stronger. Graphite snaps back
faster than fiberglass but but glass loads up better. Carbon fiber is now a
popular option along with curren fibers. Different levels of graphite
modulus can change the sensitivity and or strength. Higher being more
sensitive via higher cost but not always as strong. Hope that helps, I will
try to make a video on the subject this summer.
benhead9: 3:41 meow :D
galapicaso: nice cat
InformativeFisherman .: Thank you!
JayDeLart: Thanks for the tips. I really want to catch a bass... I've never caught a
fish in my life, and learning all the gear and techniques is pretty
intimidating. I don't know any other fishermen in my area, so I'm glad I
found your vids. I'm taking a trip in a few days. Hope to catch by first. :)
TheFishingschool: i am not a beginner but i still find your vids helpful
InformativeFisherman .: lol
1241Keith1421: Hey Nick, What would you recommend for Fall Largemouth Bass. Lizards, Brush
Hogs, Cranks. Plz help
Alex: At 4:17 I think you could grab the fish because there is a catfish next to
jetskill99: 5:02 haha i thought the cat was gonna jump right in the net Great vid man
1328daviess: Buy low memory line and don`t put more on than is recommended
BeauShutItDown: @InformativeFisherman i wanted to try cutbait with a carolina rig. Should i
use a circle hook and tight line that? i have been using vertical rod
holders as well? Do i tightline with the holders and will the circle hook
set itself in that situation? alot of questions i know always tryin to
learn something new .
montymagic1987: F.C.S '' fish creek spinners'' do you think one of these spinners would be
zak ayres: yeah man it sounds like you should try a circle hook. I honestly dont like
them, i just like setting the hook but it takes the quess work out of it
and some people really benifit from using them.
