Did this video help you?

alwaysafix: @Isabel Alexander You have to replace the screen, as I have done in this video. Good luck!

alwaysafix: @Kate Pothiawala I recommend you find a video on your specific model. Good luck.

alwaysafix: @Ajitpal Singh If there are bubbles inside, the digitilizer is probably touching the LCD. There should be a thin layer of tape around the screen that separates the two. Good luck!

alwaysafix: @BuckingBungalooloo sorry but if the screw doesn't come out then its not the right screwdriver.

alwaysafix: @jose marin yes it will repair the touch screen as well. Good luck on your repair!

Thomas Parker: If the LCD looks fine but the touch screen is cracked and doesn't work do I just replace the digitizer ?

Howard Johnson: This worked perfectly first time. Some tutorial videos can be a bit hard to follow but this one really helped, and I now have a working phone again, thanks :)

Adrian Buyssens: Little tip. If you're pulling of the touchscreen/glass layer from the frame and the frame has still some small bits of glue on it. Remove all the glue from the frame! I didn't and now my screen protrudes a bit from the rest of the cellphone which isn't good. (Makes it more likely to shatter, and the edge is rough for your fingers if you do sideswipes.)

Shane Stubbs: You are an absolute life saver mate! Cheers!

Nye Kook: Hi there Everything seemed to be working fine at first, however, now the screen just randomly stops working. I have hard reset but it continues to randomly stop working and i just have to keep soft resetting it...sometimes it works but eventually the touch just stops working. have I damaged something? not tightened the screws enough? got a faulty screen? a loose wire perhaps? Thanks

yan remy: I buy it to you by amazone. all works thanks you

Alfonsas Litvaitis: Thank you. You were really helpfull :)

Vinoth Clement: Hello alwaysafix, How are you? My nokia lumia 520 glass is shattered. I am planning to follow your video to replace it with a new display glass. I believe, the LCD is still working without issues. But I have some of the questions. 1. I could see that you remove the glue from the panel before placing the new glass. But while placing the new glass no glue has been used. Will the display stay without moving? 2. Whats is the name of the panel on which we place the glass? I am asking because, the right bottom corner of my phones panel is also broken. Just a small piece but thinking if there is a possibility to replace that also? If it s available then how much does it cost?

Dan McMeel: When I first ordered screwdrivers, they sent me the wrong ones, and the ones they sent have now damaged the screws. They refunded me £6 and I bought a new kit that had T4, T5, and T6. I used the right one of these (the smallest) to take the phone apart, but then I put the phone back together. I had replaced all the screws at the top, but when I got to the bottom, one of them wouldn't go in. It kept stopping halfway and tilting diagonally. I can't take my phone apart again because a lot of the screws won't come out because the screwdriver no longer fits. What should I do?

alwaysafix: @Shaboz Tipton It is possible you have a loose cable, it might be worth it to disassemble and check all the cables. Good luck!

StreetKingz4Life: that was so simple man all u need is a bit of patience and u are good to go....thanx 4 d video man

crystal siala: how do you fix the touch screen? because mine is not working. not worried bout the crack in my screen. its barely notceable. however the TOUCHscreen is not working.

GameVideosForFun: Dropped mine on a hard wood floor today, cracked and wont turn on, i may have knocked a connection out somewhere but do i need a new digitizer or lcd screen? Will definitely be using your video as a guide though, so very much appreciated.

Devendra Mani: Thanks for the nice video. My Nokia Lumia 520's screen is broken, touch is not working but the display is working fine. Could you please suggest me which parts I need to change?

ryan stewart: Thanks man!

André Pinto: Hi!, I bought a screen on ebay but it came without digitizer, how can I fix the phone? Do I have to buy another screen?

Sebastian Kotze: Hey, good video thanks alot - but when I put my phone back together something is out of place - the back wont clip on properly! Any idea what might be wrong?

alwaysafix: @Hugo Dhez Yes before repairing the screen, the cellphone was working normally except for the bottom buttons. After the repair everything is working 100%. Good luck!

DanglesAllDay93: very helpful

shimmy1984: Where did you buy the replacement screen from?

sparrow warrior: thank you . you have saved me 70 euro

Mike Cadge: I have cracked my screen and the touch sensitivity (or whatever you call it) doesn't work at all. Will replacing the screen fix mean the touch sensitivity will work?

Giancarlo Caorsi: Hey, I accidentally dropped my lumia 520 on water. I tried drying it but I turned it on too soon, so the screen got fried. I can turn it on and the touch screen is fine (cause I can manually turn it off with the touch screen), but there's no image at all. I was wondering if you knew if there was any replacement part I could buy to fix it. Or should I just buy a new phone?

Bravo Eldiez: Thank You very much for the Help!!

alfonm: Three things that the video didn't mention in my case: (1) they're are two different sized screws on the back, and using the wrong screwdriver with force will 'round' the screw and make it impossible to remove; (2) my new screen came pre-attached to a Nokia plastic frame, so there's no need to remove it and clip it in as demonstrated - if you don't realise and try, you'll most probably damage the new screen; (3) there is a protective foil on the front of the new screen, but not on the back - even though it looks like there is one... So don't try and peel it off or, once again, you will damage the screen. This video needs updating to point these possible scenarios out. It should also be slower for people that aren't practical-minded, DIY wizards.

alwaysafix: @Ludo Ton Poto Yes if you replace your screen, it will sort out your touch function as well. Good luck!

Detective N.U.T.s: Who agrees that Nokia Lumia screens break easily?

Leah Hultquist: What tools did you use for this? I have a set made for the iphone (although it says that it works for other phones/gadgets but the screwdriver doesn't seem to work. It fits, but the screws don't move at all.

scott may: How much will a replacement screen cost?

Isabel Alexander: Hi there, my Nokia lumia's screen smashed in the corner today but has affected the whole touch screen. The buttons on the sides still work, but the whole screen is completely senseless. Do you know how I can fix this? Thankyou :)

ashenaya: Good video, saved me a few quid! interesting how you skip the hard part about taking the screen off the frame though as its super sticky and fragile!

alwaysafix: @Julie Hay If the picture is displayed correctly, and only the touch screen doesn't work, you just need a digitilizer. Good luck!

Liam Watson: i have a nokia lumia 625 where the glass is shattering but the touch is working fine so what do i need to replace?

Kate Pothiawala: Hi, do you know if the nokia lumia 625 will disassemble in the same way?

Ajitpal Singh: after replacing the digitalizer there are bubbles left inside ... would they get clear ??

BuckingBungalooloo: One of the screws on my phone won't come out and I'm using the right screwdriver what do I do

Gizmondo Giz: thanks !! i followed the steps, worked perfectly

Peter Pan: Hi, rly nice Video. I think i uderstood that so far. Sry if i smbdy already asked that but i only see ur answers without the question My Handy glass crashed and MY TOUCHSCREEN DIDNT WORK TOO. So will it work if i just replace the glass?

Gilbert Arciniega: It's happened to me several times. The glass breaks, but phone still works. Once I finish replacing the glass. I doesn't work properly. Or does not respond at all. HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS. Happened with an Iphone 4, a Samsung Impression and a Nokia 520. Getting me upset. I always have bad luck.

rimc7: Many thanks for your help!

razem ponad wszystkim: thx

Bojan BUllY: I+replaced my touch because it was broken. And i have turned on the phone after i replaced the tuoch screen and its not working properly. For examlpe i want to press C and it types V or doesnt type anything. Help please

iTzThAITipezx: Where Did You Buy The Replacement Screen? I Need One. I Have The Same Phone With At&T & My Screen Is freaked At The Moment! Where Did You Buy The Replacement Screen?

Ro Blackett: Hey I was wondering can I follow these instructions to repair my my touch screen on the lumia 521?

Matt Nowell: I just used a T4 torx for all 7 screws, then pryed it apart with a guitar plectrum.
