Did this video help you?

alwaysafix: @Ross Ward Replace the digitilizer as we did in this video. Good luck!

alwaysafix: @Kaustav Mondal Get a torx T5 and T4. Good luck!

alwaysafix: @suzanne thomas Thanks for sharing!

alwaysafix: @Isabel Alexander You have to replace the screen, as I have done in this video. Good luck!

alwaysafix: @BuckingBungalooloo sorry but if the screw doesn't come out then its not the right screwdriver.

Chris Nihilus: 2:19 you edited. That is the hardest part, why do you cut it out? I have now no idea where i'm suppose to remove the screen.

alwaysafix: @Kate Pothiawala I recommend you find a video on your specific model. Good luck.

Botond Lakatos: Hi, there! Nice Work man! I did the same! replaced, the broken digitalizer, but the new one doesnt work at all! Any help? I would really apppreciate! Thanks Man!

alwaysafix: @Ajitpal Singh If there are bubbles inside, the digitilizer is probably touching the LCD. There should be a thin layer of tape around the screen that separates the two. Good luck!

Thomas Parker: If the LCD looks fine but the touch screen is cracked and doesn't work do I just replace the digitizer ?

chika Finconai: +nit alwaysfix thanks for sharing, mine just got broken, how do i order for the screen?

Isabel C: Hi I need help I followed your video but after the replacement, where ever I touch any letter on the pull up keypad, it touches the wrong letters. What did I do wrong?

luke harrison: help, i have purchased screen kit but cant unscrew the back. am a fraid to keep trying incase the groove goes tryed all 3 screwdrivers none seem to be working.

Hip Hop Official: if my screen is cracked but the display still works and it doesnt respond to touch? is it just the digatizer that needs to be replaced or both :) I have a digatizer from another Lumia?

PFC Media: Worked perfectly, ta!

alwaysafix: @jose marin yes it will repair the touch screen as well. Good luck on your repair!

StreetKingz4Life: that was so simple man all u need is a bit of patience and u are good to go....thanx 4 d video man

Arjun K.R: what if just the glass broken and touch works absolutely fine? do I need to replace the digitizer as well or just replacing the glass is enough?

Sajid Mahmood: Hi can u help please I have changed the glass twice for 520 Touch works after 5 min stop working and I took the battery and try again then works any idea please ? Why this happen

Missy50505: Hello, first of all, thanks for uploading! I like feeling independant from annoyingly powerful companies :p And I like saving money too :) Also I have a question; where do I get the materials like screen and so on for reparing? And what is the exact name of these things so I'm sure I won't buy the wrong things.. In my case it is just the glass that is broken it seems underneath that its still working.. Also I'm from Holland I don't know if you happen to maybe know it will be best if I order the stuff from America or sth?

Kevin Allen: this vid was a big help, saved me $500 tt dollars for parts and labour, approx $77 us dollars....only thing....separating the digitizer from the frame wasn't that easy, but thanks all the same

Alejandro Panés: thanks man. Just did the same thing as in your video and success. The only thing is I couldn't manage to get of one of the screws. It was kind of daamaged. But still changed the cover and everything. Thnaks

Howard Johnson: This worked perfectly first time. Some tutorial videos can be a bit hard to follow but this one really helped, and I now have a working phone again, thanks :)

Adrian Buyssens: Little tip. If you're pulling of the touchscreen/glass layer from the frame and the frame has still some small bits of glue on it. Remove all the glue from the frame! I didn't and now my screen protrudes a bit from the rest of the cellphone which isn't good. (Makes it more likely to shatter, and the edge is rough for your fingers if you do sideswipes.)

Shane Stubbs: You are an absolute life saver mate! Cheers!

Alfonsas Litvaitis: Thank you. You were really helpfull :)

Nye Kook: Hi there Everything seemed to be working fine at first, however, now the screen just randomly stops working. I have hard reset but it continues to randomly stop working and i just have to keep soft resetting it...sometimes it works but eventually the touch just stops working. have I damaged something? not tightened the screws enough? got a faulty screen? a loose wire perhaps? Thanks

yan remy: I buy it to you by amazone. all works thanks you

Katrina Graydon: Thank you so much! I am a complete techy novice and I did this so easily thanks to this video!

Vinoth Clement: Hello alwaysafix, How are you? My nokia lumia 520 glass is shattered. I am planning to follow your video to replace it with a new display glass. I believe, the LCD is still working without issues. But I have some of the questions. 1. I could see that you remove the glue from the panel before placing the new glass. But while placing the new glass no glue has been used. Will the display stay without moving? 2. Whats is the name of the panel on which we place the glass? I am asking because, the right bottom corner of my phones panel is also broken. Just a small piece but thinking if there is a possibility to replace that also? If it s available then how much does it cost?

Dan McMeel: When I first ordered screwdrivers, they sent me the wrong ones, and the ones they sent have now damaged the screws. They refunded me £6 and I bought a new kit that had T4, T5, and T6. I used the right one of these (the smallest) to take the phone apart, but then I put the phone back together. I had replaced all the screws at the top, but when I got to the bottom, one of them wouldn't go in. It kept stopping halfway and tilting diagonally. I can't take my phone apart again because a lot of the screws won't come out because the screwdriver no longer fits. What should I do?

Ross Ward: Hi my screen is cracked and my touch is broken what do i need to buy to fix this????

Giancarlo Caorsi: Hey, I accidentally dropped my lumia 520 on water. I tried drying it but I turned it on too soon, so the screen got fried. I can turn it on and the touch screen is fine (cause I can manually turn it off with the touch screen), but there's no image at all. I was wondering if you knew if there was any replacement part I could buy to fix it. Or should I just buy a new phone?

crystal siala: how do you fix the touch screen? because mine is not working. not worried bout the crack in my screen. its barely notceable. however the TOUCHscreen is not working.

GameVideosForFun: Dropped mine on a hard wood floor today, cracked and wont turn on, i may have knocked a connection out somewhere but do i need a new digitizer or lcd screen? Will definitely be using your video as a guide though, so very much appreciated.

alwaysafix: @Shaboz Tipton It is possible you have a loose cable, it might be worth it to disassemble and check all the cables. Good luck!

Leah Hultquist: What tools did you use for this? I have a set made for the iphone (although it says that it works for other phones/gadgets but the screwdriver doesn't seem to work. It fits, but the screws don't move at all.

Devendra Mani: Thanks for the nice video. My Nokia Lumia 520's screen is broken, touch is not working but the display is working fine. Could you please suggest me which parts I need to change?

ryan stewart: Thanks man!

JC70IOM: Perfect, thanks very much for the guide

André Pinto: Hi!, I bought a screen on ebay but it came without digitizer, how can I fix the phone? Do I have to buy another screen?

Sebastian Kotze: Hey, good video thanks alot - but when I put my phone back together something is out of place - the back wont clip on properly! Any idea what might be wrong?

sparrow warrior: thank you . you have saved me 70 euro

shimmy1984: Where did you buy the replacement screen from?

alwaysafix: @Hugo Dhez Yes before repairing the screen, the cellphone was working normally except for the bottom buttons. After the repair everything is working 100%. Good luck!

suzanne thomas: this really helped but one thing to mention is when you get to taking the glass out of the frame, be very careful as the glue it is stuck to can break the flimsy case take care when removing from the edge I used a Stanley knife.

Kaustav Mondal: whts that screwdiver that you used is called?? i'll have to buy it too along with the digitizer,,

Mike Cadge: I have cracked my screen and the touch sensitivity (or whatever you call it) doesn't work at all. Will replacing the screen fix mean the touch sensitivity will work?

ashenaya: Good video, saved me a few quid! interesting how you skip the hard part about taking the screen off the frame though as its super sticky and fragile!

Bravo Eldiez: Thank You very much for the Help!!
