kmayberry5263: did you make it?
can you show howyou wired the motor to the controller and the throttle to the controller please?
Karma Electronics: lol no i ended up geting a ebike. and overvolting it to 80volts.:)
ben myotte: You want to buy that scooter? lol
skeetab5780: that was my entry level bike i bought last year, it looked cool..but it was really slow. So i upgraded to a suzuki gsx600. so much more fun. just got back from a nice ride
YTmurphy: Yeah, I'm also looking for solutions to skirt around the rules a bit without breaking them too obviously. Is that street bike the one from my home country you introduced in one of your vids? (sorry if I missed another more recent presentation)
skeetab5780: ya we have a 20mph limit here, but i have not got stopped once doing 30 plus. Altho i upgraded to a street bike since my commute is far now :(
YTmurphy: Not yet, but I'm planning to since quite a while!
Unfortunately around here the motors are restricted to 250W and the top speed to ridiculous 16 mph for bicycles :|
Otherwise you need a license and have to pay for insurance ...
skeetab5780: Well thanks for your support, and for watching :)
do you commute via EV?
YTmurphy: Yeah it was (kinda), although you would expect something different from the title ;) ... but I was not the person who disliked this video!
I have rather seen more than the first half of all of your videos this weekend and will hopefully manage to watch the rest as well :)
skeetab5780: lol i think the seat was a little too high for him :)
either way it was rather funny
YTmurphy: Uuuh, what a SERIOUS crash! :}
Is the scooter ok? :P
skeetab5780: sorry karma this scooter is at my brothers house in NH right now. i havnt had a chance to drive up there from MA to find out info on it
Karma Electronics: the rear sprocket and belt where can they be picked up?model?
