Jeff Larson: Try switching to heavy low rep training (4-6 reps) with low volume. Also, I bet the main reason you are feeling weaker in the gym is because you are going into your workouts dehydrated (from drinking the night before) and dehydration makes your strength go way down. If this is the case, make sure you hydrate before and during your workout
