Did this video help you?

Will Matos: I did mine but it leaves a gap about 1/2 " in the middle between the two sunroof. At the opposite ends they are close just right (flush). I didn't have to use the wrench to close the first sunroof. What could have happen?

L. Murphy: Thank you, thank you man, this worked! Slight difference on my '06 X5: the control console is different, and you remove it by prying out the dome light assembly at the front and a vent cover at the back. Under those are two Torx 10 screws each end. Maybe I didn't need to remove it, because the hex key was fully tightened and didn't move the big glass down.
It's important to get the big glass vent closed, though, before trying to tap the lifting ramps back. If the ramps aren't lined up exactly as it looks at 5:33, with the square piece connected to the small-glass top positioned about halfway down the ramp, then it won't budge when you tap it. (I started trying when the square piece was sitting on top of the ramp, and it wouldn't move.) I got the large glass to lie flat by working the console control a bit - pulling it toward the back of the car, I think. Then the weight of the smaller glass panel came down off the top of the ramp and I could then tap it back.
Thanks again!

Júlio Nhabanga: number plees

Scott McKinney: I'm assuming the last step is to disconnect the sunroof wire from the back of the switch and maybe pull the sunroof fuse and never use the sunroof again.

redryda019: I found it difficult to open around the switches for access to panel so instead I tapped the close button little by little as I pushed the mechanisms back as far as it would let me...tapped some more for the main roof to close then finally everything closed. It opened on the first couple tries until I got really patient tapping the close button and doing the pushing on the back mechanisms for smaller window closure. I only had a screwdriver at the time. Went well. Thanks a million.

JordZbeck Beckley: does this fix the roof or just crap it ? thanks

Rick Harris: I love this video!  I wonder if you couldn't have tried to grease up the moving parts and have fixed the rear portion without disabling it, though?

danson nganga: Thanks for the awesome video. Fixed my stuck moon roof in less than 10 minutes. Had a question concerning the sunroof shade that will not close. It is the second half that covers the moon roof. Any manual fixes please. Thanks. Again excellent video.

andres carrasco: Mr. You just earn another subscriber lol!! Thank a lot really help on my X5!!

christopher bell: You really saved me with this one

Anthony Difo: Would you have to do this every time you place the moon roof in vent mode?

M. Ervin: Danke schön ist mit ihre trick ge klapt dankee nochmal

carsten clausen: Great video, easy understandable, and perfect camera holding... Thanks

James Calvelage: Thank you so much. It's 6 degrees here and I've been outside for an hour trying to figure this out.

Teron: I did this and I do not want to open it back up without double checking. If I open it back up will it close again? Or no it snows here and I don’t want to have it open

Rogerio Martins: God bless you my friend 💰💰💰Thank you so much for the video 🚗🚗🚗

Theodore Marakas: Ugh !!!!! Panorama roof......Pain in the tookus......but so beautiful to have. I have 3 cars with Panorama.

PhantomMark: Had my first problem with the roof today but managed to get it closed without doing this, as I can see this may lead to another problem was great to watch your video in case things get more serious !! Thanks very much indeed.

Fearwing: As a total layman when it comes to car repair, I would never have expected to be able to repair anything in my car just by watching a <10 min video on youtube. You've just proven me wrong :)
