Charles McCune: nice video. have a question. I have the Linksys router I use as my main
router but what I want to do is extend or get wireless in my house, I have
my router in my office out side but the wireless dose not make it to the
house. and I need network in the home for the kids and wife and other
internet wanted stuff. I was thinking of buying another Linksys run a
line to the home and set up another router there. but I still want access
to all in side o the house. so can I set it up as just an networked AP.
were my main router is the main hub. for all data.
Charles McCune: I'm also setting up security cameras at the house so I will still need to
view them over the network if possible. I guess I can have a hub and then
put the wireless router off that and not worry about it and just us it for
wireless. and not networking. thats a thought.
joseph chrzempiec: hello what happens if we can't access the access point page? i follow all
the steps but i can't get the page to come up.
Guillermo Roquett: tell me about the music was great jajajaj can u tell me the dj and the mix
irfanali vk: nice video.. i like it.. and very helpful.. i have one other doubt
regarding this, i hope you can help me..
I have a Linksys Wireless-G router (WRT54GS). It's installed and working
-- and, for the most part, seems to work flawlessly, with one exception.
Every couple of hours (and the actual time varies), it simply disconnects.
I might be in the middle of downloading a file, or browsing the Web... or
not even working on the system at all. But without any warning, I lose my
connection. The only response I've found to work is to reboot
(power-cycle) the router. This seems to work every time.
However, this is becoming quite a pain to have to do this every hour.
(And, on rare occasions, it may even be 15 minutes or less.), Is there
something in my Configuration that I need to change?
Johnwilly Kamau: Thanks alot!

I can expand the range of my network
Tackleb uster: once you have config'd your AP router does it have to stay connect via
ethernet to a pc or can you disconnect and the router would be stand alone?
ThrowingMueslix: Thank you. Very helpful.
garylparas: Connect your AP to your DLink modem... btw, thanks for appreciating.
John Erl: nice thanks!
010slb: thanks for the help!
zxz1661: How do you find the AP's IP? I can't set my ip to static because of some
settings that were made on it.
garylparas: I'm glad I helped you.. :)
garylparas: I have experienced this issue, it's more likely a modem problem. Please try
to power reset your modem, if it still the same issue try to replace your
modem if you have a spare one. If your ISP provided the modem, you can
coordinate with them for them to check or replace your modem.
ALANSIANUQUI: Gracias amigo!
garylparas: Can you ping your AP's IP Address? Did you also reset your Access Point
(Linksys WAP54G) before re-configuring?
Blackbird8023: Awesome video Man. I appreciate it.

DeathStalkerGR001: Thank you ! Your guide is very useful but I realised that you plugged the
new router with the OLD (AP now) via an ethernet cable. Can I do this
without a cable? Without any cables , I mean, wireless .. If so I will be
grateful ! Keep up the good work

twofaces31416: Hey garyparas can you tell me something about the QoS?
corsa3012: Excellent video At 4.08 you say now connect to modem, do you mean Wireless
router. My Netgear N wireless router is already connected to my DLink
modem. I want to create an Access Point using my Linksys wap54g for wider
WIFI range of my home. So do i connect my Linksys wap54g AP to my Netgear N
wireless router or DLink modem. Cheers
moi373: Muchas gracias, estaba buscando la configuración pero no me tenía acceso a
mi AP. Me faltaba asignarle una IP a mi computadora, Gracias... :)
Jordanfacekilluh: You just fixed my entire issue. Holy freak. After 2 months I COULD NOT
