Roy Hughes: Nice! You should do multiple targets on one of your videos.
Casey Pennington: no problem. Thanks man, looking forward to more content!
TheNinjapandapoo: aren't firearms band?
iainmcgregor8: Thanks man! Appreciate all your support! and i can tell you now that these
rifles are great fun
Douglas S.: Very cool, I'd like to see some more long range with your Savage 7mm. I
just finished a 7mm build, ill get some long range videos up soon
Ronan Doherty: Cracking shot Mate. What ballistic SW are you using.
TheAirborneJarhead: Where was this video taken?
iainmcgregor8: Whats the .338 worth mate?
iainmcgregor8: Trophy Tactical Series 5-20x50 is the scope, thanks for the sub!
iainmcgregor8: I agree, a big reason for me purchasing this rifle was the look. it's also
my first Savage and im very happy with it.
Roger: Good tips and info. Appreciate it mate. I did my homework before buying the
111 LRH 7RM but didn't realize just how heavy a 8.6 lb. rifle is! That's
naked with no scope on it yet. Better start hitting the gym and working up
my two guns attached to my upper torso.
1dlesniper: Wow, your shooting just gets better and better. Great production quality on
the vid too. Thanks for the effort mate!
NTycingProductions: That is some amazing shooting! Nice Rifle and scope as well :
iainmcgregor8: Thanks for the sub mate! A review will be in the very near future
dieudopote soral: rem 700 only the best!
ThaiTan Corner: whats your hold over target, and how much was bullet drop
Doc Shearon: Good shootin' Tex.... Reminds me of my 450 yd. Running shot on a mule deer
back in Iran...
Christopher Fraedrich: Hi Ian. I have the same rifle. I have found that the Black hills 162 Gr.
Hornady A-Max is the best round for my rifle. What are shooting?
medlytek: The one that you zoomed out on 1 mile wow. Didn't know they go that far.
I'm in the market for a very good one.
Jacob Gunner: 7mm is nothing compared to my .338 in cost. You are jut above 30-06 there.
paltryengineer: good shot mate, savage make a pretty solid gun, and there not as hideous as
they used to be.
buckshots500: I hit the like button from a mile away.
whorehay kk: How is it 1646 meters when on the range finder it shows 450..? someone help
me understand this aha
theblackhorse1000: good vid
iainmcgregor8: Horandy.com Is the site i used. Thanks for the comment mate
Roger: Does the Savage 111 LRH have a "heavy barrel"?
ilovemesomejess: What 7mm round are you using for that shoot? Grain? Did you buy it or load
gary jack: You have to do the math. Range finder maxes at 600. He does 4 x 450 or
there about. I realize mathematical questions pose a challenge, so hope
this helps out. It's a long good shot!
iainmcgregor8: Thanks mate. Planning more videos as we speak, all suggestions are great
hammettkid120: Nice shooting man! Is that a 7mm-08 or 7mm? Im looking to try my 7mm-08 at
1000yards here soon just wondering what i'll need.
iainmcgregor8: I can answer that. the rangefinder i have only goes about 600 meters, so i
set up 3 barrels in line towards the target (that's why you see 4 separate
distances). me to barrel 1, B1 to B2, B2 to B3 and B3 to the target. the
total distance is 1646 meters. hope that helped!
Cogzed: Nice shot bro! Subscribed.
iainmcgregor8: Thanks heaps mate, its great to see my efforts are appreciated. Thank you
for the support!
Maurice Rogerson: Very cool. I am aging rapidly, and am quite inspired to see you younger
fellows taking an interest in this sort of thing. Bravo! Nice shooting. I
am left with the impression that liberty will NEVER be seized from freemen!
Casey Pennington: subbed, What scope are you rockin on the savage?
aussieS1000rr: Good to see some Aussie interest in long range precision shooting. Keep up
iainmcgregor8: NSW Australia
m4x1170: still cant get over the flight time of 4 secs+ lol
iainmcgregor8: Thanks bud it's a 7mm. what kind of scope do you have? What brand is your
iainmcgregor8: Thanks dude!
iainmcgregor8: Yea i measured 4 distances in a row because the range finder only goes to
600m. the 4 distances in a row = 1609m from where i shot to the target.
Jacob Gunner: I pay $128 for 20 rounds. 7mm is about $32 for 20 here, and I can get 30-06
for $23 for 20 rounds
Jesus C: Any experience with 30-06 at distances?
iainmcgregor8: It's a Sony handy-cam hybrid DCR-SR45. mine is about 3 years old, its got
40x optical zoom but isn't a HD camera, although i'm sure Sony make one in
HD now. Also has 30 Gigs internal memory
A7Delgado: Subbed. Please make more videos with this rifle. Maybe a review?
Roger: Firstly, how do you turn on the muzzle brake? Rotate counter-clockwise
using a wrench? Don't really want to scratch the gun but this thing is not
budging at all! Mabe some more long range shooting videos as you've got
beautiful wide open land to do so. Perhaps do a video on ranging in your
target with the scope for us long range shooting newbies.
Daniel Stoner: Hey Ian, WHICH one of these well-established "7mms" is it? (1) 7x57, (2)
7mm-08, (3) 7mm STW, (4) 7mm Express, (5) 7mm WSM, (6) 7mm RSAUM, (7) 7mm
RUM, or (8) 7mm Weatherby mag, or (9) 7mm Dakota? Don't tell me it was (10)
7mm Rem Mag, that crappy outdated thing with the silly belt, surely? So
sick of people thinking there's only one "7mm"
