ludo van der plaetsen: Thanks Terrance for sharing the issue.
The washers are critical items. Being mismounted or not using them can cause big problems.
Terrance Bowhay: Hi Sergio had the same problem, have you removed the steel spacer washer from the old blade grips I did not. I have now used them and the problem is resolved.hope this helps
ludo van der plaetsen: Grinding the main shaft and use the old lock collar so there will be no play in the main shaft up and down.
There's a little movement in the feathering shaft when moving the blades up and down. Other than that, if you assemble the main head correctly, I can't see any reason for any 'play' .
Sergio Veras: Ludocassys: Please tell me what spacers were not right. I am having problems with my upgrade (TREX500 to DFC) due to a play in the feathering shaft. The copper spacers should be a bit thicker. Could not find a solution yet. Have you?
ludo van der plaetsen: no special hardware. All stock parts. As I show at 0:52, use a grinder to smooth the new shaft and use the old collar ring. Adjust the lenght of the linkage rod's and level the swash plate.
diegardox: Hi there, I'm about to do the same upgrade on FBL for my 500CF, if it's ok with you, could you please share the hardware list you use for main rotor? Many thanks in advance, your CF rocks. Cheers.
ludo van der plaetsen: No mods made. My trex 500 is an old Trex 500 CF.
ludo van der plaetsen: Turnigy 3000mAh, 40-50C and Zippy 3000mAh, 40C.
The turnigy lipo's begins to swell after one year of usage.
The Zippy lipo's are better price-quality.
amartolosgr: hello, which battery are u using?flightmax 3000??c??
