John Smith: To all those worried about the air/moisture in the hoses: *THE LINE-SET IS PRE-CHARGED!* (In fact, it would appear that in this set-up, the line-set is already attached to the inside unit.) Hence, this is the reason for the comment @ 4:42+ about having a little refrigerant escaping (from the hoses), BEFORE the valves were even opened to the compressor.

Seems like some very complicated mechanical valves are holding the R410A (between 200-300 PSI) inside the line-set/indoor unit..
And now you tell me there are 2 more complicated mechanical valves holding a vacuum, inside two little 5" pipes?
Wait a sec, the manual shows no 6" pipes!!

Aren't those two 6 inch pipes (full of air) going to contaminate the R410A??
