Did this video help you?

Michael Morana: +Phillip Mapes im assuming you had done the v6 update and using the motochopper method messed you up. Have you tried hard reset?

Michael Morana: +kyle burbano uninstall then reinstall aParted. Or, to play it safe, use my video on partitioning from your computer instead of using aParted.

Michael Morana: +Keaton McDermott nope. You have extra space to put music on. However, you've gotta put it there manually or tell whichever app your downloading music from to put it there.

Michael Morana: @blaziankhmer You can still root using saferoot and some people have managed to make this method work WITH the update (by chance/luck)

Joseph Crow Riley: I just got my phone a day ago. I was shocked and annoyed that there is no way to move apps to the SD card. I followed your instructions to the letter, but it does not root correctly. I notice that when motochopper is doing its thing, under where it says "success" there is also a failure listed. It does not matter how many times I uninstall it from my phone and reinstall it, it does not root correctly and the other programs do not recognize it as being rooted.

Erik Tempest: What happened to the audio? The last time I watched this I could hear you speaking. Now it's obnoxious intro music and then dead air.

Bluur|PC: Hey Thanks For everything Micheal, I was trying forever to do this by myself without your help and the internet and i just wasted my time. if you guys follow Micheal's videos it will work (I PROMISE!) everything is fine. Have any problems pm one of us and ill be happy to help and im sure he will also. THANKS!

Bluur|PC: The best root method is SAFEROOT. Works Perfect! Follow Micheals Videos!

junior fernandez: Main reason why I returned this phone because u can't move apps to sd card

Linda Key: Michael please help. I have not done anything to my phone since the last time we chatted. I still needed to re partition my SD card because it was running out of room for apps, but everything I had was working great. However when I got up this morning I noticed that a bunch of my apps have been deleted. I had a folder for games. The folder was gone and only 1 game icon was in the spot where the folder was. Super user is gone as well. My husband swears he didn't touch my phone. Have you ever heard of this? My phone is telling me it doesn't have room to download even my banking app. Do you think I should go back to factory settings and start over? It was rooted successfully. The settings are still the same. Seriously advise.. What would Michael do??? :-(

armyboy3848: Dude but I don't get Run.but

gumdrops27: Whats the song?

TougeSpecV: Does this work for the optimus f6? And do i do the same exact steps for the f6? (since the screen is bigger)

Anne Coleman: Why is there a slot for sd cards if these companies aren't making a way for you to USE them? Argh! I just went from an Optimus V to the F3 and on the V I was able to just click and send whatever I wanted to the sd card. What's the point of the slot if you can't actually USE it? Talk about non-user-friendly. One of the teens already has her phone space maxed out :(

miniclip843: Is it safe to root because I barely got my phone and I don't want to mess it up. Anyway, great video. Please reply as soon as possible

Edward Gonse: What kind of case do you have on your phone? Where did you buy it?

jacob zamora: When I went to Aparted and link2sd the superuser request didn't pop up please reply I'm so irritated with limited space

TheGuy04: it says mount script cannot be created for me

matt smith: Your guide was quite helpful. I have noticed that moving files with link2sd does not move the whole app. Pretty much if I had a 700 mb app only 500mb would be moved. So have you had any luck with this since the apps add up quick?

mistermister98: I followed your tutorial and I only have one problem. You see, I have a 32 GB Micro SD Card in the slot, which I am able to transfer those apps to. I bought Grand Theft Auto: Vice City from the Amazon AppStore, and it is 1.4 GB. When I try to download the app, the size of the app is to big to fit on the internal memory (which is only 1.2 GB), which means there is no way of transferring it to the SD Card that has plenty of room. Any ideas?? (I'm using the same exact phone as you)

Juan Burgueno: Can u still root the optimus on the new update using this method ?

Kurt B: Can you help me. I did all of the steps and all of my large apps are linked to my sd card but my storage hasn't cleared up...

kaiotes: I previously tried rooting via motochopper method. the superuser icon got installed. but when i tried using rootchecker to see if it was sucessfully rooted it said it didn't. i tried redoing the motochopper method again i got an error of failure. installed failed already exists. rooting phone... this may take a few minutes, failure. failure.exploit complete. i wanted to use the link2sd app it couldn't obtain root access. if you have root access make sure you respond allow or grant to superuser request. can you help me ?

jackercrackbox: Apps dont move man. They just link to the location. I moved kik and candy crush to external sd card. Then checked my storage after each move and it still says the same amount is on my internal storage. Did you check this or am I doing something wrong?

asleepwmonsters: the f3 installed the root but the superuser isnt working.. what?

4G64SicKShoT: yo where'd u get your phone case

forest Gump: Hey awesome video, I followed every step, and I made it to the end successfully. The only thing is that when I move my apps to the sd card, it doesnt free up my internal space, it just keeps adding to it. Can you help?

GL4DIA70R: I believe my phone just bricked, I hit the reboot option on Link2SD and then my phone just went black and hasn't rebooted. I would like some help.

Claire Nunez: Hi Michael! great video! I am very frustrated and disappointed with my LG Optimus F3's memory so I want to root. But I have a couple newbie questions. When I want to root my phone I have to factory reset and I have to partition the SD card so when factory resetting I don't have a place to back up my information, or do I? You can partition when there is information on the SD card and internal storage? If so, how can I back up all my info? Thanks!

MJ androidhawaii: Completed everything by the letter but when I update the phone in Google play it says insufficient storage.

AL4SK4NBULLKING: Not sure if you can help but i rebooted my phone because it was running slow. When it turned back on, it is saying that my storage is out of space all of my apps have been linked and don't know what to do know Please help if you can thanks.

thehopper555: My internal storage space isn't freeing up for some reason. It says the apps are being linked (I've linked apps such as twitter and instagram if it matters.)

edwin rodriguez: Does this still work....

Sean Mahoney: Got this to work using saferoot, but when I linked the apps to the new partition, they disappeared completely. Any ideas? Or ideas about the new cyanogenmod thing? (I'm a noob at this)

Pinoy Touch: Done my phone is rooted, Thanks for this but I have a problem! This is what it said, Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage I can't move the apps to external storage? any suggestion what to do here. . . .

Jeff Smith: saferoot worked for me. I had to use partition wizard on the PC to create the necessary partitions to move my apps though.

Michael Sowa: Thank you so much for the video. Super easy to follow. I have a few questions. - When you say that the 4 gigs is set aside for apps, is that what Link2sd is moving things into? - To save music and photos on the 10 gigs left on the sd card do I have to do anything such as a settings option or does it happen automatically? - I assume what I do not (or cannot) move to the sd card is what is taking up space of the internal memory. Thanks again for the video, super super easy to do.

Tonino Nambo: Hey after several hours and fustration, I was able to the process of moving my apps 2 sd. But weird thing, I dowloaded Busy box and then i did everything again step by step and Mission accomplish. I was begining to think that buying this sd card was worthless for this. Again thank you. You sir are a genious!! Btw can you keep me informed about the cynogenmod update for this phone. Thank you.

StormerEcho: While trying to do this, my phone stopped reading any sd card I put in it. I tried other sd cards, like a smaller one that I was using before I tried this out with my bigger card. I did the other method for partitioning the card, but I can't do anything now with the fact that I can't mount any cards. Also when I open up super user it says I can't update the binaries due to some error. Can you help?

I am Beobeto: all the steps were going smoothly until i opened aparted. the initial screen did not pop up and it said that "no sd card device detected" can you help?

Colette Nicholas: Hey Michael, we spoke a few weeks ago. Still fighting with the phone. Had a friend partition my SD card on a PC like you suggested. Even though I originally had the LG drivers installed, used motochopper, & everything worked & the phone rooted successfully (root checkers verified & Superuser access was granted to Aparted & LInk2SD), it is currently not rooted. When I try, it gets to a certain point in the process where it says failure. Superuser is installing on my phone, but it is not granting access to Aparted or Link2SD, I never get the permissions screen about always allowing Superuser access & rootcheckers say that I'm currently not rooted. :( Help if you can, please. I really don't want to reset my phone to the factory settings I don't understand.

Rackista123: Hey why does aparted keeps saying no sd card detected

kasief andem: Please please i need help i partition my system memory by mistake please tell me how i can fix it please

Will Leger: the command popup is saying that it doesn't recognize the phone

Adrian Uchiha: my aparted doesnt work like yours does what do i do?

chillin jerry: meant to say, **USB Driver** not hard drive.

Stephen Gosciejew: when i go to delete my original sd card partition it says that dev/block/mmcblk1p1 is being used and it says that I have to unmount it, what do i do?

Andy Taubman: HI there. I promise you I followed your video step by step and installed all the drivers. I just got a virgin optimus 3 and got all the way to the "Run as administrator" step on motochopper. I hit enter I got the "daemon started successfully" thing, then nothing else. bo more more writing that showed up like it did in your video. The phone didn't reset and superuser did not show up. Can you help?

Isaiah G: im a little confused on which partition i am sending apps TO is it the ext4 or fat32. So like say i want 2 gigs for apps should i make that the ext4 or fat 32? Thanks

Sheridon C: Hi! The video is very helpful but I have a problem with the aParted app. Its not asking for SuperUser access. Will this be a problem and affect anything?
