Michael Morana: +kyle burbano uninstall then reinstall aParted. Or, to play it safe, use my
video on partitioning from your computer instead of using aParted.
Michael Morana: +Phillip Mapes im assuming you had done the v6 update and using the
motochopper method messed you up. Have you tried hard reset?
Michael Morana: +Keaton McDermott nope. You have extra space to put music on. However,
you've gotta put it there manually or tell whichever app your downloading
music from to put it there.
Michael Morana: @blaziankhmer You can still root using saferoot and some people have
managed to make this method work WITH the update (by chance/luck)
Seth Halley: Thanks for all your time sir. Big help.
Amanda Counterman-Jobb: I've done everything you had in two of your videos, (THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!)
however, the superuser that popped up after rooting my phone with the blue
icon for the app with the # symbol inside of it states that it needs to
install the binary something, then when I go to install them whether its
for the HTC phones or not which i have tried both, it still states that it
cannot install them and says that there are no current superuser app
policies. Please help me fix this so it will work!!!!!
taylor isbill: its saying my partitions are already neing used! :( I really need to figure
out how to put apps on sd card, someone help me out!
stephen vaughn: when i downloaded the apart app i didnt get the aloow thing like you what
do i do (ps i have the same phone as you but with t-mobile)
Richard Farmer: Thanks so much, worked perfectly. I went from .70gb to 1.0gb internal
storage on my phone using this guide. Couldn't have been easier.
Sean Ferrie: Idk if it makes a difference that i have an optimus L9 but i followed your
steps and its still telling me, like at 11:55 of the video it says your
parts have memorie in them and thats when you go and clear them but mine
says that its all just empty what's going on?
Isaiah G: im a little confused on which partition i am sending apps TO
is it the ext4 or fat32.
So like say i want 2 gigs for apps should i make that the ext4 or fat 32?
taylor isbill: Thanks a lot man! This helped me out for sure!
TougeSpecV: Does this work for the optimus f6? And do i do the same exact steps for the
f6? (since the screen is bigger)
junior fernandez: Main reason why I returned this phone because u can't move apps to sd card
miniclip843: Is it safe to root because I barely got my phone and I don't want to mess
it up. Anyway, great video. Please reply as soon as possible
blaziankhmer: Well thanks for your time, I watched all your other videos on the F3 and I
did do the update so I'm basically freaked! Anyways, you have a new sub on
both your channels.
Sarah Martin: now my phone turned off and will not turn back on
p0kerp1aya: So using Link2SD, the partition that you are sending your apps to is
hidden. As that partition fills up with all the apps, is there a way to
see how much space you have left on that partition?
lyoko214131: I rooted it with parted like you showed and when I try to use the link2sd
app and hit ext4 like you showed it says that mount script cannot be
created and that ext4 may not be supported and try fat32 instead I did that
as well and I still get a error plz help
Juan Burgueno: Can u still root the optimus on the new update using this method ?
Charles McCollum: Crap. Now "What does the Fox say" will be stuck in my head.
Aaron Levy: I just think I had a bad phone cam would nt zoom vm sent me a replacement
but they sent me the wrong phone so I sent 2 phones back
mistermister98: I followed your tutorial and I only have one problem. You see, I have a 32
GB Micro SD Card in the slot, which I am able to transfer those apps to. I
bought Grand Theft Auto: Vice City from the Amazon AppStore, and it is 1.4
GB. When I try to download the app, the size of the app is to big to fit on
the internal memory (which is only 1.2 GB), which means there is no way of
transferring it to the SD Card that has plenty of room. Any ideas?? (I'm
using the same exact phone as you)
Anne Coleman: Doesn't rooting void the warranty? I have 4 kids with these and I'm not
willing to void anything until I'm sure they don't NEED the warranty ;)
4G64SicKShoT: yo where'd u get your phone case
Luis Vasquez: thank you make more videos for f3. Can you do a video of how to roam f3
Sheridon C: Hi! The video is very helpful but I have a problem with the aParted app.
Its not asking for SuperUser access. Will this be a problem and affect
jacob zamora: When I went to Aparted and link2sd the superuser request didn't pop up
please reply I'm so irritated with limited space
forest Gump: Hey awesome video, I followed every step, and I made it to the end
successfully. The only thing is that when I move my apps to the sd card, it
doesnt free up my internal space, it just keeps adding to it. Can you help?
KidRepti: it says mount script cannot be created for me
kaiotes: I previously tried rooting via motochopper method. the superuser icon got
installed. but when i tried using rootchecker to see if it was sucessfully
rooted it said it didn't. i tried redoing the motochopper method again i
got an error of failure. installed failed already exists. rooting phone...
this may take a few minutes, failure. failure.exploit complete. i wanted to
use the link2sd app it couldn't obtain root access. if you have root access
make sure you respond allow or grant to superuser request. can you help me
DiscoverTruth1776: I literally spent hours trying to figure out how to be able to move apps to
my sd card on my LG Optimus F3. I had downloaded motochopper and the device
drivers. After failing numerous times, it finally successfully rooted. But
the move to sd card button wasnt there like I saw on another youtube video.
I saw your comment on that video and found this video on your channel. Your
instructions were very easy to follow and everything was successful. Thank
you so much for making this video.
Keaton McDermott: when i download music will it automaticly go to the sd card now?
Linda Key: Michael first off I would like to thank you very much for making these
videos. I am 58 years old and never thought I would root my phone or
partition my SD card, nevertheless, I followed your videos and my phone
works almost perfectly now. However I think I may have missed a step when
I told my phone which partition to use. I thought you said that I should
pick the Fat32 first and then the other partition 2nd. I thought all the
pictures would go to the 2nd part of the partition. I have a 16 gig SD
card, which I divided 50/50 and my phone is giving me the following
message: "89% space used Free space for new photos" Do I need to start
over again and change my partitions? Right now I have no photos on my
phone at all.
Jason Martinez: hey again. I successfully rooted my lg optimus f3 and found the Superuser
app in my apps drawer. However, the AParted app is not reading any of my SD
cards and no option popped up the first time I opened the app to grant
Superuser access. I tried opening the Superuser app and it says that "The
Superuser binary (su) must be updated". Is that the problem, and will it
work if I update it? Also, I tried partitioning my sd card using MiniTool
and instead of saying FAT32 under File System, it says "Bad Disk" and it
says this for all my sd cards that I tried to use. Do you happen to know
how to fix this?
kristhian renteria: could you please tell me how i can download music straight to the sd card?
or transfer the ones i already have over to the sd card?
Kurt B: Since I partitioned my new 32gig microsd, is it now ruined for use? Is
there any way to change the sd card back and try again?
Kevin Harrison: Now I have an app that actually mounts apps from your files to the sdcard.
It's called "folder mounts". It works a lot better than link2sd. It moves
all the data including the obb! :-)
Colette Nicholas: Hey Michael, we spoke a few weeks ago. Still fighting with the phone. Had
a friend partition my SD card on a PC like you suggested. Even though I
originally had the LG drivers installed, used motochopper, & everything
worked & the phone rooted successfully (root checkers verified & Superuser
access was granted to Aparted & LInk2SD), it is currently not rooted. When
I try, it gets to a certain point in the process where it says failure.
Superuser is installing on my phone, but it is not granting access to
Aparted or Link2SD, I never get the permissions screen about always
allowing Superuser access & rootcheckers say that I'm currently not rooted.
:( Help if you can, please. I really don't want to reset my phone to the
factory settings I don't understand.
Zachary Hatcher: Thank you so much!
Alessandro Febretti: Super helpful, thanks!
Adrian Uchiha: my aparted doesnt work like yours does what do i do?
asleepwmonsters: the f3 installed the root but the superuser isnt working.. what?
AL4SK4NBULLKING: Not sure if you can help but i rebooted my phone because it was running
slow. When it turned back on, it is saying that my storage is out of space
all of my apps have been linked and don't know what to do know Please help
if you can thanks.
Will Leger: the command popup is saying that it doesn't recognize the phone
thehopper555: My internal storage space isn't freeing up for some reason. It says the
apps are being linked (I've linked apps such as twitter and instagram if it
Tonino Nambo: Hey after several hours and fustration, I was able to the process of moving
my apps 2 sd. But weird thing, I dowloaded Busy box and then i did
everything again step by step and Mission accomplish. I was begining to
think that buying this sd card was worthless for this. Again thank you. You
sir are a genious!!
Btw can you keep me informed about the cynogenmod update for this phone.
Avram Cuevas: YOU SIR ARE A BOSS THANK YOU!!!
MJ androidhawaii: Completed everything by the letter but when I update the phone in Google
play it says insufficient storage.
Joe Mclaren: Its not showing how much mbs, it says 0 and the parts also say 0
