Elizabeth Storm-Powers: Is rubbing alcohol really the best for rubber? My blades crack and need to be replaced yearly because of the extreme heat where I live, and it isn't such a huge expense to buy new ones yearly, just a pain. However, I know that rubbing alcohol is very drying to skin and can cause damage (which is why rubbing alcohol on cuts and piercings is a bad idea!). Is this not true of rubber?
Zeek Martin: Succinct explanation - I really appreciate it! Going to run out to my car right now and change those blades. Thanks a lot!
