Smart Techie: I tried this for Toyota Hiace 2010. After it cycle itself to indicate add mode and I continue with the instructions, nothing happened. Does that mean I can not add more keys or some other problems? I only have the master key at this stage. To cancel all existing remote mode , will that cancel the master key as well?
Doreen Wolf: I have done all the steps and have successfully programmed my remote. Issue I'm having now is that after car is unlocked it re locks in 30 seconds. Is there a fix to this?
Maya Patel: Hello. This may be a silly question but I'm in the UK will this method still work? I have Toyota RAV4 2005. Maya
carandtruckremotes: Zi, Some years of the models you mentioned below are able to be programmed with this method. It really depends on the year of the car/truck. If you could be more specific I can let you know. You can email us anytime at email@example.com
Jason Gonzales: Worked on my 2012 Tacoma. Thanks for the video. It's way easier than I expected.
Zi Valdez: What about the Toyota vehicles like Sequoia Tundra, FJ Cruiser RAV4 Corolla And Matrix.
Bri w (willbo): would this work on a toyota yaris 2009? thank you
Jeff Lum: Do you have instructions for 2012 Camry? No ignition key insertion, just has power on button.
carandtruckremotes: Justin, you can try a couple of things to see if you can get it working. When you get to the part where you cycle the key on/off, do that twice, on/off and on/off again before removing the key. You can also try rebooting the car by disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes, reconnect and try programming again. Also check the battery and signal on the remote at a local auto parts store. If all else checks out and the remote still will not connect you may need to visit a dealer or locksmith for programming.
chris k: Hi, I have 2 remote for my 2006 Corolla S and no remote for my 2004 Camry XLE. Can I program one of the remote for Corolla to work with Camry? Thanks for your help.
Ryan Warenski: Doesn't work for my 2006 Toyota avalon
Justin Carandang: I own a 2004 toyota camry and when I follow the instructions the car locks and unlocks on its own but when I press down the lock and unlock buttons together followed by the lock button again, it doesn't seem to work. I tried it 3 times so I know I'm doing it correctly. Any reasons why this isn't working? Thanks
Oscar villa: Does not work on my 2008 highlander
alouwomack: Will this programming work on a 2013 TACOMA???
Mondo: 2009 Highlander does't work sadly. Will have to take to dealer.
ThePassepoil2cats: will it work for a toyota solara 2001??
Adnan Mughal: hey will it works with toyota camry 2013 thanks
Ricardo Quiroz: I have a Camry 2005 and it doesn't works, doesn't even goes to lock and unlock by itself
Kidsvideofun: Thanks, I got it to work in the end by turning the key on off twice, really helpful video, thanks again :-)
Kidsvideofun: Ok, so i have a toyota corolla verso 2002, the key stopped working a few months back because the battery died, ive just replaced the battery but the key no longer works. When i follow your instructions, everything is the same as on your video except when i take the key out at the end and press lock to see if it works, the doors lock and unlock twice, if i press it again it locks and unlocks twice again but still doesnt actually work to lock and unlock the car. Am i doing something wrong? Frustrating as the key and car can obviously 'talk' to each other. Thanks in advance :)
